This is a privately owned reference service with no government affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners is a consumer reporting agency or offers an FCRA-covered service. Information may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another regulated eligibility decision.
Purpose of the Site
The site organizes Kentucky release-record and offender-search resources, routes visitors to county pages, and connects to independent research tools. It is not KDOC, a sheriff, a jail, a court, the Parole Board, a private investigation firm, or a public-record custodian.
Rules for Access
Use must be lawful and must not impair the site or harm another person. Visitors may not scrape or harvest data at scale, probe security, introduce malicious code, evade access controls, impersonate another person, misstate an affiliation, or use the service to stalk, threaten, harass, discriminate, or violate privacy. Automated copying and resale are prohibited without written permission.
No Consumer Reports
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its content and any information reached through linked tools must not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, housing or tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered purpose. Visitors are responsible for making sure their use is lawful.
Independent External Links
Links may lead to Kentucky government offices, county sites, VINE, federal locators, advertisers, and search partners. A link does not endorse or guarantee an outside service. Those operators control their content, availability, prices, privacy practices, and results.
Service Provided As Is
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made about accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation. Government data can be delayed, corrected, sealed, expunged, or restricted. A projected release date is not a promise, and a missing result is not proof of release or discharge.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent Kentucky law permits, the site, its owners, contributors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, outside tools, or third-party conduct. This limit applies even when the possibility of loss was known. Any nonwaivable liability remains limited as the law requires.
Your Duty to Indemnify
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your unlawful use, breach of these terms, or violation of another person's rights.
Ownership and Permission
Original text, graphics, logos, organization, and code belong to Kentucky Released Inmates or its content partners unless otherwise stated. You may view the pages for personal reference. Copying, distributing, republishing, selling, or modifying protected material requires prior written permission.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised when the service, law, or operating practices change. The posted version applies to later access. Continued use after a revision means acceptance of the updated conditions.
Suspension or Termination
Access may be limited, suspended, or ended without notice when needed to protect the service, users, rights holders, or the public, or when these terms are violated. Provisions that logically survive termination remain in effect.
Kentucky Governing Law
Kentucky law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.
Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only as needed. The remaining terms continue in force.
